How much will it cost to design my website?
The base cost for a custom design package is generally between $500 and $700. Such a package includes:
- A customized design, including logo and colors to match your business.
- Search engine optimization.
- No hidden fees or charges.

Additional pages are typically added at standard hourly labor rates. How long a page takes to add depends on the content of the page. A good guestimate is that a page with some text and a photo or two will take approximately 1/4 of an hour to add.

There are obviously other factors that can increase the cost of your site. Things such as database development, custom scripting and photo slideshows are some examples.

Can Fotan set up web hosting, and how much will it cost?
We can set your website up on our web server for as little as $12.95/month. There is no setup fee and we pay your annual domain name registration fees with annual hosting. If you already have a host, or would prefer to use someone other than us, that is no problem. All we need is the FTP information and we're happy to upload your site wherever you like.

How long does the design process normally take?
A typical web design usually takes between 2 and 4 weeks. Much depends on the speed with which you provide images and written content and how quickly you give feedback along the way.

Can Fotan take digital photos to use on my website?
Yes, for an additional cost, Fotan can take pictures required for your website. Price obviously depends on locality, but in the Roseburg area, our prices are very reasonable.

Does Fotan write the content on my website?
Supplying written content is generally the responsibility of the client. Fotan will be happy to assist and make suggestions along the way, if you like.

Will people be able to find my website in Google, Yahoo and MSN?
Fotan will use best practices to make your website as search engine friendly as possible. If your server is compatible, we also install a utility that resides with your web site to submit your site to Google at no additional cost. In order to be well indexed by Google your website needs to be linked to from other sites. Providing such links is the responsibility of the site owner, not Fotan.
